Engagement Process
A clear path from first call to implemented recommendations, with no surprises about scope or fees.
Every Camelliafield engagement follows the same transparent structure. You always know what happens next, who is involved, and what you will receive.
Initial conversation
A 45-minute call or meeting at our Taipei office. You describe your family firm, the decision or tension you are facing, and who would be involved in an engagement. We ask clarifying questions and explain which consultation format fits. There is no fee for this conversation and no obligation to proceed.
Scoping and proposal
Within three business days we send a written proposal: scope, timeline, deliverables, fee, and confidentiality terms. For Governance Reviews we outline which stakeholders we would interview and what documents we need. You may request adjustments before signing.
Engagement letter
Once you accept, we issue an engagement letter. Governance Reviews require a 40% deposit; session-based work is invoiced per session; coaching is invoiced monthly. Work begins only after the signed letter and deposit (where applicable) are received.
On-site discovery
We visit your premises, conduct confidential interviews, and review documents you provide. For workshops and coaching, sessions are scheduled around your operations and holiday calendar. We respect that family businesses do not pause for consultants.
Delivery and presentation
Reports are shared in draft with key stakeholders before final delivery. We present findings in a meeting you arrange — typically a half-day family or board session. Written summaries are provided in Mandarin or English as agreed.
Follow-up
Every Governance Review includes one follow-up call within 30 days. Many clients choose quarterly check-ins during implementation. Coaching and succession engagements include built-in review points. We remain available for questions by email between sessions.
